December 18, 2001.
The Moscow office of the Ford Foundation issued a yearly
grant № 1025-0337 to the Center (since January 1, 2002).
March 2002. The
competition for participation in the School of a Young Author
was announced (see Archive, Information Letter, only in
Russian). Read about the School in the section of the School
of a Young Author (both in Russian and English).
April 14 - 20, 2002.
The first "European" training of the School of
a Young Author was held in the town of Pushkin (St. Petersburg)
at the Educational Center of Managers' Training ("Dacha
Kochubeya"). It is possible to read about the training
(only in Russian) in the section of the School of a Young
Author (We recommend you to pay your attention at the subsection
Kochubeichiki).
April. The first
issue of the journal Acta Eurasica in 2002 was brought out.
It is possible to look at the content of the issue in the
section Journal (both in Russian and English), and the material
of the issue is presented in the section Archive (only in
Russian).
May. The first
seminars on the journal Acta Earasica were held at Irkutsk
State University and Russian State Humanitarian University.
It is possible to read about these trainings (only in Russian)
in the section Magazine (see Seminars on the Journal).
May 19 - 25. The
first "Siberian" training of the School of a Young
Author was held near Irkutsk in the camping-hotel "Yolochka".

June. A students'
and teachers' seminar on Acta Eurasica was held at Irkutsk
State Pedagogical University.
July. The second
number of the Journal.
August. In the
framework of the Young Political Scientist School from Buryat
State University the seminar on the Journal was prepared
and provided.
September 16 - 21.
In the "Kozlovy Gory" hotel (Kostroma) the second,
final training of the Young Author School was provided.
October 7 - 12.
The second "Siberian" training of the School of
a Young Author was held near Irkutsk in the camping-hotel
"Yolochka". The third number of the Journal.
November. Special
seminar on the "Vestnik Evrazii" journal in Ust-Ilym's
section of IGPU.
December. Seminar
on the "Vestnik Evrazii" journal with students
of Volgograd State University. Also the same seminar was
provided with Moscow State University's students.
January 2003. The fourth number
of the "Vestnik Evrazii" (2002)" The Young
Author School competition was anounced.
